Welcome to Mirror in The Bathroom

As long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with public bathrooms.

My mother often recants stories of a young me wondering off to the bathroom at local restaurants.  After an ample of amount of time had passed for a young, spry child to “do their business”, my mother would head to the powder room to check on my status.  Generally, she would find me, most times singing or talking to myself in the mirror, oblivious to the stinky world around me.

Maybe, I wasn’t really obsessed with bathrooms, but rather the mirror.  I was fascinated with my own reflection. I would blow kisses, pout, pucker and talk to my reflection.  I learned early the value of my own friendship. While some may call it budding narcissism or the unknowing birth of a baby egomaniac, I was practicing for a yet known skill set that would fair me well as the digital age blossomed.

What started as a slight mock to the face obscured selfies of the world, soon became a hilarious, witty, charming and humble documentation of my rockstar life on Instagram.  But why stop there? The time has come to combine my love for music journalism and my amazing skill for bathroom selfie photography. A live music documentation experience live no other,

Welcome to Mirror in the Bathroom.
